Lil Yachty, the 23-year-old rapper and Grammy nominee, is to mint an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency token in his title, introduced Fyooz.io, the cryptocurrency platform on which Lil Yachty’s token will debut.
The American rapper, whose actual title is Miles McCollum, is the most recent to challenge a so-called “social token”—a cryptocurrency bearing an influencer’s title that trades on cryptocurrency exchanges. An influencer can settle for these cash as forex, redeemable for items and companies.
Lil Yachty has 10.7 million listeners on Spotify, 9.8 million Instagram followers and 5.2 million Twitter followers. He’s, mentioned Remo Prinz, co-founder of Fyooz, in a press assertion, “the face of cool and the sound of rhyme,” and “at all times in movement.”
Fyooz didn’t disclose when Lil Yachty’s token will launch or what the rapper plans to do with it. He would be the largest influencer to function on the platform. Others registered to Fyooz embody JAS CRW, a Swiss Afrobeats trio and Meta Hiltebrand, a Swiss celeb chef.
