JONESVILLE — Longtime Jonesville City Council Member Wayne Moore was honored on Monday. Moore didn’t file for re-election and Monday was his remaining assembly as a member of the council. Moore has served on the council for 17 years. In a shock ceremony, Moore was introduced with the Grady Hunter Award.
Matthew Dolge, Govt Director of the Piedmont Triad Regional Council, and County Chairman Kevin Austin introduced the award which is called for a previous Yadkin County Commissioner and honors native leaders.
